One of the commonly used materials for plastic sheet fabrication is Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, commonly known as ABS plastic. ABS plastic is recognized for its toughness, impact resistance, and heat resistance. The material offers a wide range of operating temperatures from -20° C to 80° C. Therefore, the ABS material is commonly preferred for molding, fabricating, and extrusion type of plastic manufacturing processes. Since the material offers flexibility with molding and forming different shapes and making changes to the manufactured products, it can be used for manufacturing a wide range of products. Grades of ABS Materials We Work With
In fabrication and forming of ABS Ehren-haus Industries, Inc uses various grades to meet the end use and environment the parts being produced will be exposed to. We are always sensitive to practicing sustainability. Therefore our usual go-to grade is regrind with a virgin cap. ABS is available in a “utility” grade (make of primarily rgrind materials) as well as a virgin grade (no regrind).

We offer mechanical or CNC routing for cutting, edge filleting, sheet corner filleting, curvature polishing, etc. We choose CNC routing, in general, to gain precision and dimensional stability while working with close tolerances in ABS plastic product manufacturing.
Drape forming is a process in which a heated ABS sheet is placed on a mandrel and then can be pressed or bent over it to take a shape without the use of vacuum pressure. We can fabricate the ABS sheets in hollow shapes or open-loop shapes using this technique.
Drilling, tapping, de-burring, adhesion and chemical bonding are all techniques and processes that we use to complet the parts or item to the requirements & specifications needed to achieve the end result.
