PVC Fabrication and Machining

PVC Fabrication and Machining

Ehren-Haus Industries specialize in all the various plastic parts fabrication and cnc machining services to craft PVC parts and products. We offer a wide range of PVC fabrication services including PVC Forming services and PVC Machining services, to name a few.

What is Polyvinyl Chloride or PVC?

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is a synthetic plastic polymer. It consists of interlinked monomers of vinyl chloride. It is commonly manufactured by using suspension polymerization, or emulsion polymerization.  It can be manufactured as clear sheets, rigid blocks, flexible sheets, etc.

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is one of the most commonly utilized plastic polymer in the world. Due to this plastic’s versatility it is compatible with several fabrication processes. Therefore is used to manufacture many products such as PVC pipes, fittings, rollers, bushings, roofs, floorings, shields, tents, and so on. One example of PVC’s versatility is that it can be either a rigid or unplasticized (flexible) polymer. However, this means that it also requires a strategic design and production process to maximize its benefits. This is exactly where Ehren-Haus stands out.

What Sets Ehren-Haus Apart?

Ehren-Haus places and emphasis on customer-centric service. Therefore, we take responsibility for custom product design and secondary activities post-fabrication. We offer pre-fabrication and post-fabrication services starting from high-quality material procurement, Custom product design, CAD prototyping to Surface Polishing, Flame Polishing and Laminating, Engraving. Our experts offer assistance to customize our PVC fabrication services to meet your product needs.

What is Our Process?

We accept designs for your PVC plastic parts & components in IGS, CAD, and DXF formats. The designs are analyzed and discussed with the client for clarity. Any design changes are suggested in the initial stages. The prototype building begins after seeking their approval.

Types of PVC Fabrication Services We Offer at Ehren-Haus

The following are different types of services offered by us.

    PVC Sheet Forming

We employ PVC sheet forming to manufacture shields, protecting cases, molds, display units, prototypes, etc. Under the PVC sheet forming process, we perform PVC sheet bending, heat bending, molding, etc.

    PVC Vacuum Forming

We offer PVC vacuum forming to produce products from flexible PVC. We employ PVC vacuum forming to create seamless hollow products such as PVC shells, bottles, cases, and many more.

    Expanded PVC Machining

Expanded PVC machining is performed for product laminating, vinyl lettering, and forming products. This includes engraving, roll forming, compression molding, and CNC machining to create delicate parts.

    Properties of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)

The following properties of PVC contribute to its widespread use.

    Insulating Properties

PVC is a good insulator due to its good dielectric strength. This is why they are used to manufacture wire shields, insulating caps, etc.

    Chemical Inertness

PVC is a chemically inert polymer. It does not react on exposure to chemicals except concentrated acids.

    Impact Strength

PVC offers great impact strength. This helps in the construction of robust and durable products like PVC pipes, gears, bearings, etc.

PVC is non-toxic in nature and is FDA-approved. It is widely used for packaging in food and beverage processing, as well as pharmaceutical industries.

    Fire Resistance

Due to high chlorine in the PVC polymer chain, the material is flame retardant. It offers self-extinguishing properties.

    Corrosion Resistant

PVC is water-resistant. The water droplets do not settle on the PVC surface and therefore it offers excellent corrosion resistance.
