Enclosures

At Ehren-Haus Industries, Inc., we specialize in plastic enclosure fabrication for a variety of applications. We regularly design, fabricate, machine and deliver electronic, medical, electrical, and handheld custom plastic enclosures. They come in varied sizes and shapes and are made of the appropriate plastic that meets form, fit and function for the application. Plastic enclosures are widely used as casings of housings for covering electronic devices, circuitry, electrical wiring units, meters, and any other sensitive devices.

What Sets Ehren-Haus Industries, Inc. Apart?

Every project starts with a detailed discussion where our experts work with clients to understand their product-specific requirements including their dimensions, operating environments – indoor or outdoor, challenges, and limitations. This allows us to build quality custom plastic enclosures including waterproof electronics enclosures and different types of plastic outdoor enclosures. This, combined with our competitive prices, makes us the popular choice for plastic enclosure fabrication among various industrial clients. We do not have any standard readymade enclosures stored on our shelves. We are happy as long as we meet the customer’s requirements in terms of form factor, fit, and functionality. We offer brand labeling services to customers who approach us with unique requirements. Clients can place an order irrespective of the product volume they require. We accept quantities from 1 to 1000 units. The more you buy, the more you save!

What is Our Process?

We accept designs for enclosures in IGS, CAD, and DXF formats. The designs are analyzed and discussed with the client for clarity. Any design changes are suggested in the initial stages. The prototype building begins after seeking their approval.

Types of Plastic Enclosures Designed and Delivered by Ehren-Haus Industries, Inc.

We are experts in plastic fabrication, CNC machining, customizing and manufacturing enclosures based on the customer’s requirement, and are can make knock down enclosures. At Ehren-Haus Industries, Inc., we produce the following types of enclosures for your industrial application

    Plastic Enclosures for Electronic Projects

These are perfect for your generator set ups, servers, server room cabinets, and so on.

    Medical Device Enclosures

Handheld or large equipment devices require enclosures for safety and cleanliness.

    Large Plastic Enclosures

These are used for desktop monitors, CPUs, UPS, modems, routers, and many other mid to large network devices.

    Small Plastic Enclosures

These handheld plastic enclosures may be used as CD cover, potting cases, handheld device covers, sensor covers, and so on. These are also suitable for enclosing PCBs, a number of network components, networking tools, and so on.

Materials Used to Manufacture Various Plastic Enclosures

We have gained immense experience with different plastic materials. Over the years, we have fabricated plastic enclosures using a wide range of materials. The following are a few popular materials that we regularly work on. Our experts recommend these materials based on client’s requirements.

    Solar Tinted Acrylic Sheets
    ABS Enclosures

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene or ABS plastic enclosures for electronics are a great fitment because of their properties. ABS is a type of polymer with a good impact as well as chemical resistance. It is more suitable for indoor enclosures than outdoor ones. It can be used at temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius

    Clear Acrylic Sheets
    Polyamide (PA)

This is a material commonly used to build cover cable glands, potting cases, tool casing and so on. It has electrical insulation properties and hence is commonly used for electrical fittings. However, it is mainly used indoors as it may be affected because of moisture

    plastic material
    PETG Enclosures

It is chemical resistant, impact-resistant, and assures good clarity. It serves as a low-cost substitute for polycarbonate and is an FDA approved material.

    Clear Acrylic Sheets
    Polycarbonate (PC) Enclosures

This thermoplastic is widely used for outdoor enclosures as it is resistant to UV rays and can withstand a wide temperature range from -20 to 140 degrees Celsius. PC offers transparency because of which it is used as shield or cover to various electronic parts and gadgets so that the inner part can be seen. It is not very suitable for shielding alkaline substances. However, it can be used as a cover for many electronic products from CDs to circuits. It is robust and offers an excellent thermal stability

    plastic material
    Polycarbonate ABS blend

Plastic outdoor enclosures must be designed to be rugged and weather resistant, and hence blends are used to enhance these properties. This blend increases the corrosion and impact resistance of the enclosure. It is suitable for indoor as well as outdoor use, even at freezing temperatures.

    plastic material
    Polycarbonate blend

Polycarbonate when blended with ASA or Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate increases the impact resistance and operating temperature range. It is suitable as an outdoor enclosure in rough weather conditions as this blend also increases the resistance to harsh weather and chemicals.
